Born in Torrington, Connecticut and raised in Litchfield, Connecticut, Attorney Simoncelli has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years. A former Corporation Counsel for the City of Torrington he joined Victor Muschell’s law firm in 1990, becoming a partner in 1993.
His practice areas include personal injury, criminal defense, municipal tax and land use, real estate, probate administration and wills, with an emphasis on labor and employment matters including unemployment compensation and workers’ compensation.
He counts the Tax Collector for the City of Torrington, the Litchfield Water Pollution Control Authority and The Last Post animal shelter, a charitable foundation, among his many clients.
Attorney Simoncelli is a member of the Litchfield County Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and was recently admitted to the bar of the state of New York.
