The firm was begun in 1969 by Attorney Victor M. Muschell, a native of Torrington who chose to remain in his hometown to work and raise a family. Starting out as a sole practitioner, he eventually grew the firm to its present size of four lawyers. Again, two of the three others, Jean Considine and Donna Mattiello, were born and brought up in Torrington. The exception, George Simoncelli, is a native of Litchfield.
In 1978, the firm’s offices moved to its present location at 104 Church Street near Torrington’s Vogel-Wetmore School. Throughout the almost thirty-five years of its existence we have provided high quality legal services of all kinds to our clients. We do that in an informal friendly atmosphere and in a manner, one might call “family style”.
Although we are a general practice firm, we have developed a reputation of expertise in the areas of real estate transactions, employment law, workers’ compensation, estate planning and settlement.
Our clients range from individuals and businesses to municipalities and not-for-profit institutions.
